Tili babies Welcome to my blog! Here you can follow me on my journey to become a marine mammal trainer, as well as find information on Ulcerative Colitis. My inspirations are Laura Surovik, Dawn Brancheau, and Julie Scardina. I strive to educate the world about conservation and inspire people to make a difference.

agirlwithguts:

It’s IBD myth friday and it’s time for our first UC myth. I should have done Myth Monday because that sounds better, but my vlogs are usually done on Monday’s so…

Let’s get to our first UC myth. If you didn’t catch the crohn’s disease myth last week go check it out!

UC Myth #1: There is…

Living with an Ileostomy for basically my whole life (since I was two, now I’m 17) I can honestly say, that a J-Pouch is NOT, I repeat, NOT the way to go.  I have friends who had UC, like myself, and they have gotten the J-Pouch, and they are in pain 24/7.  It won’t go away and are in the emergency room at least every two months.  The Ileostomy is the best way to go.  Pain free, and no emergency room visits.
